East Coast Trail Association volunteers lead public guided hikes on East Coast Trail paths on weekends from April to November. A guided hike is a great way to experience the trail for the first time, or enjoy it with a group. Paths and hike dates are scheduled according to the availability and preference of volunteer leaders.<\/p>\n The environment of East Coast Trail is left as unspoiled and natural as possible. On a guided hike, you may climb rock outcrops or walk near cliff edges. Hiking the trail inherently has a greater risk than a stroll in an urban park. All guided hike participants will be asked to sign a waiver before the hike begins.
