{"id":9223,"date":"2009-04-22T14:36:20","date_gmt":"2009-04-22T14:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eastcoasttrail.com\/?p=9223"},"modified":"2023-07-21T13:59:00","modified_gmt":"2023-07-21T13:59:00","slug":"freshwater-bay-earth-day-cleanup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eastcoasttrail.com\/freshwater-bay-earth-day-cleanup\/","title":{"rendered":"Freshwater Bay Earth Day Cleanup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><b>Freshwater Bay Earth Day Cleanup<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Wednesday, April 22, 2009<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ocean Net, Katimavik and East Coast Trail members joined forces to celebrate Earth Day with a hike and a beach clean-up in Freshwater Bay.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There were 42 participants in all who hiked Fort Amherst to Freshwater Bay on Earth Day enjoying a beautiful Newfoundland spring day along Deadmans Bay Path.
