\n<\/span>positions for *Trail Crew Workers for construction, enhancement and maintenance work along the coastline from Portugal Cove to Cape Francis to Cappahayden*<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Preference will be given to applicants with chainsaw, carpentry skills and ability to construct steps, stairs and retaining walls utilizing logs. Knowledge and experience in the proficient use and safe operation of power saws and tools associated with construction, carpentry, woodworking, and stonework will be an asset.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Workers required with:<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>– Experience and knowledge of safe chain saw operations in felling and brush clearing procedures *Rate: $20.66 \/hr*<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>– Persons with carpentry skills working with rough lumber and logs *Rate $20.66 \/hr*<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>– General labour workers with attention to safety practices *Rate:<\/span>
\n<\/span>$15.85*<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Successful applicants *MUST* be in *good physical condition, capable of hiking and transporting tools, equipment and materials long distances on a daily basis to work sites along the coastline*. Occasional camping will be required for short periods during the work season.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
