Trampers from New Zealand<\/b><\/h2>\n

They couldn’t be farther apart (approximately 16, 000 km in fact), yet Newfoundlanders have a lot in common with New Zealanders. Both island peoples have developed distinct cultures and are renowned for their friendliness, humour and hospitality. No matter how far they travel, Newfoundlanders and New Zealanders (Kiwis) also share a strong sense of place – and with their respective homes boasting such stunning scenery, dramatic landscapes and endless outdoor adventures, who can blame them?<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>So it’s not surprising that hiking (or “tramping” as Kiwis call it) is one activity that locals have been enjoying for years at both ends of the globe.<\/span>
