Successful outing for Torbay Trails group<\/b><\/h2>\n

Saturday, May 30, 2015<\/b><\/p>\n

There was a good turnout today by the Torbay Environment & Trails Committee at a maintenance outing on Father Troy’s Path of the East Coast Trail. Father Troy’s Path runs from Spray Lane in Torbay to the Flatrock beamer.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>At the initiative of TETC, a long established local trail support group, ten members came out, and with some guidance by ECTA experienced maintenance<\/span>
\n<\/span>volunteers, Robbie Hicks in the lead, pruners and handsaws were taken to the Whale Cove loop and the tight path widened to a more comfortable treadway for hikers. The results were<\/span>
\n<\/span>immediately appreciated by tourists from New York and local trail users.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
