No exceptions.\u00a0<\/strong>The East Coast Trail runs through fragile ecosystems, private lands, and coastal forest. Walk 400 m south on Beachy Cove Road to Longmarsh Road, or 800 m to Beachy Cove Beach. The closure is expected to last over 12 months. Parking is permitted only on one side of Doran\u2019s Lane between May 1 to October 31, and care must be taken to not restrict access to private driveways. If you wish to start you hike at the Doran\u2019s Lane trailhead, and no parking space is available, the ECTA and the Town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove request that you use <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/xNcYskGJjcmGmWTU6\">the designated parking lot on Cobblers Crescent,<\/a> and arrange for someone to provide a drop-off or pick-up service when entering or exiting the path at Doran\u2019s Lane. A large boulder broke free from the cliffs above the trail and landed in the path, bringing other rocks and trees with it.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>The boulder temporarily blocked the trail approximately 1.0 km from the trailhead at Blackhead Village.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The Trail Crew has cut a short reroute around the boulder and appropriate warning signs will be installed shortly.
